The Roblosen Lakeside Area
The Roblosen lakeside area is located just outside Einsiedeln, in Egg. Set directly on the shores of Lake Sihl – the largest reservoir in Switzerland – it offers wide, open views across the water and toward the mountain landscape of Einsiedeln and the Ybrig region.
The sauna is placed on the terrace of the (currently closed) restaurant and stands, depending on the water level, around 100 meters from the lake shore.

New Sauna Model
For our new, self-developed sauna model, we have incorporated all the knowledge and experience gained over the past three years. The proven layout and interior remain unchanged. With a bit more space and comfort, you can continue to enjoy the familiar sauna experience together with up to six people.

Booking
Please book at least 1 hour in advance so that the sauna can preheat.
Getting there
By car
Free parking is available directly at the lakeside area. Please note: On nice days, especially on weekends, the car park can get very busy! If possible, arrive with only one car (carpooling is recommended) and allow enough time to find a parking space.
By Postbus
- from Einsiedeln (line 552) to the stop Einsiedeln, Badeanstalt
- from Egg SZ (line 551) to the stop Einsiedeln, Badeanstalt
On foot
- From Einsiedeln (1 h) or Egg (45 min)
- In winter also via the Sihlsee winter hiking trail (loop, 8.5 km)
- By cross-country skis via the Schwedentritt trail
Entrance
Use the regular main entrance to the lido.
Showers
The lakeside area does not offer any shower facilities during winter operation. Please shower at home before your sauna visit.
Toilets
For sauna guests, a Kompotoi (composting toilet) is available.
