The unique sauna experience at Lake Sihl

The Roblosen Lakeside Area

The Roblosen lakeside area is located just outside Einsiedeln, in Egg. Set directly on the shores of Lake Sihl – the largest reservoir in Switzerland – it offers wide, open views across the water and toward the mountain landscape of Einsiedeln and the Ybrig region.

The sauna is placed on the terrace of the (currently closed) restaurant and stands, depending on the water level, around 100 meters from the lake shore.

Booking

Please book at least 1 hour in advance so that the sauna can preheat.

Getting there

By car
Free parking is available directly at the lakeside area. Please note: On nice days, especially on weekends, the car park can get very busy! If possible, arrive with only one car (carpooling is recommended) and allow enough time to find a parking space.

On foot

Entrance

Use the regular main entrance to the lido.

Water for sauna infusions

On the wall of the lido building, behind the Kompotoi toilet, there is a large water tank for sauna infusion water (no drinking water). Alternatively, lake water can be safely used for sauna infusions.

Showers

During winter, no showers are available at this location.

Toilets

For sauna guests, a Kompotoi (composting toilet) is available.

New Sauna Model

For our new, custom-designed sauna model, we've incorporated everything we've learned over the past three years. The proven layout and interior remain unchanged. With a little more space and comfort, you can continue to enjoy the familiar sauna experience with up to six people.
